The bottle stands imposing, thickly shouldered in black livery, invoking imagery akin to Darth Vader.
Kalleske, Eduard, Shiraz, Barossa Valley, 2016
Such a dense and uncompromising nose: deep cola, briquettes, stewing plums, fresh leather, chocolate licorice bullets, dried and fresh violets all kissed with sweet cedar French oak. Inky and thick through the all layered components of the palate. The grip and graft from the muscular tannins simply wont budge for a decade while that black, concentrated fruit may yet come to yield some of its secrets.
