Deep garnet in colour. Powerful and intense: blackberry/cassis, coffee, Malteaser chocolate and cinnamon quill with almost a yeasty, sweaty undertone giving a rugged handsomeness. Elegance and refinement: medium bodied at best. Statuesque tannin and a long neat, tightly coiled palate delivering a worthy wine.
