Earthy elements under squishy black currant and blackberry. choc drop oak with an echo of regional minty characters. There’s an element of spirits alcohol but not so much to distract. Full bodied. Syrupy black extracted fruit, through to waxy tannins. Finishing with yeasty smears and black olive. The fruit is a little dulled under the weight, but still offers some character and value.
