Farm Hand Wines, Chardonnay, Riverland, 2022

Cool fermentation in stainless steel to preserve all those early drinking Chardonnay fruit flavours and four months on lees for complexity. Smells like Chardonnay. Fig and grapefruit with plenty of white nectarine. Creamy lees tones smooth things out and there’s a flinty punch. Fruit forward and pleasant with driving citrus and just ripe nectarine and a earthy grip. Not overly complex but bright, juicy and clean.
