Entry level Chardonnay here from the multi award winning Angullong from Orange, New South Wales.

Angullong, Chardonnay, Orange, 2022

Easy white stone fruit with lemon/lime citrus reflecting cool origins. Lemon drop “boiled lolly”  with a little flinty struck match and roast cashew nuttiness. Initially rich and mealy palate pulled into line with regional acidity and zip. Some grip through the finish with echoes of apple and spice. Drink now option with roast pork or “Kentucky Fried” jackfruit for the vegetarians.
