Earthworks, Cabernet Sauvignon, Barossa, 2021

Fresh earth turned and run through blackberry, blueberry, baked pastry, cigar smoke, vanilla tart, mocha and cedar. Spiced and fruity with an inherent brightness with rosemary and lavender, countering a swathe of fine tannin. Nothing distracts from opulent blue/black fruit presented plainly but with conviction.
