Deep bruise purple in the glass. Spent coffee grounds, rose petals, choc nut bar, aniseed, raspberry jube and flinty mineral splinter. Medium weight. Red currant and raspberry fruit, supple and flowing. Nutty overtones with tart, burnt citrus highlights and flat, drying tannin. Plenty of regional flourishes for Vale fans.
