Allegiance Wine reach across the country to SA’s Clare Valley this release (2021 was Eden Valley). I do like a Muhammad Ali quote on a Riesling bottle.

Very pale to watery colour. Clare lime and fleshy apple pop right out the glass, with earthy fennel frond and bittersweet grapefruit. Runs a safe line with good balance of fruit and acidity. That little extra time in bottle has just softened the edges enough. Easy summery lime citrus icy pole off set with an almost orange undertone before a good length of flavour a soft chalk through the tail. Textbook stuff.
