Allegiance Wines, Emily Jane, Pinot Grigio, Tumbarumba, 2022

Very soft bronzing to the colour. Floral and lifted with musk, Beurre Bosc (brown) pear flesh, chalk, grapefruit citrus, candle wax, dried kitchen herbs and with a hint of cafe latte creaminess. A little heft to the palate giving welcome texture to a minerally, near saline spine. Fleshy, waxy pear and grapefruit flavour and quite a brace of acidity to cut through. Definitely in the racier camp of Grigio wines.
