Allegiance Wines, Thomas James, Pinot Gris, Tumbarumba, 2022

Very slight bronzing. Follows the sibling Grigio with a musky, rosewater line over chunky pear flesh, soft yoghurty creaminess, leafy rocket, hotel soaps and marzipan. Hitting some bittersweet savoury notes and fleshy pear and musk richness with intense, near overpowering acidity. A slightly flat and blousy finish after the upfront power.
