Gundog’s easy approach to Semillon. Fruit comes Keith Tulloch’s Latara and Hermitage Road vineyards just north of Pokolbin, Tinkler’s Mount Bright vineyard (just south of Pokolbin) and a small parcel from Hollydene Estate (getting close to Upper Hunter).

Very pale hue. Soft aromas of lemon and lime citrus, a touch of lemongrass spice, wax candle and an almost cold butter richness. Round(ish) fruit profile with plenty of tart citrus and a medium level of intensity. Feels soft and approachable (which is the intent) but lacking a little “x-factor” zip.
