New label for the EITR range. Winemaker Corey Ryan is on board here again. Post fermentation, 66% matured in stainless steel and the rest matured in French oak for nine months. Rioja Joven gets a stylistic nod.

Medium garnet. Varietal cola and black cherry fruit with roast nuts, cedar and a touch of green tobacco. Gives the feeling of velvet. Hits the varietal dark, herbed mark with plenty of ripe berry and cherry. Nice spread of fine tannins and a fresh, juicy blood orange citrus close. Nothing too complex but a fine foil for a tapa of chorizo.
