Foot trod then into tank. Settled cool in stainless steel and juice racked off to ferment (wild). Transferred to a combination of stainless steel and an old French oak barrique to mature for four months. Winemaker is Alex Beckett.

Briar Ridge, Limited Release, Albariño, Hunter Valley, 2023

Delicately floral. Ginger water, apricot stone fruit, mandarin segment, lemon biscuit, honeysuckle, slate and saline. Softly fleshy with plenty of flavour through the mid palate and chock full of delicious textural grip. Citrus and stone fruit skin, saline-bitterness and a juicy, driving finish of quiet intensity. Such a well made wine.
