The Hare & The Tortoise, Pinot Gris, King Valley, 2023

The faintest of coppery blushes. Pear skin and flesh, little hotel soaps, just lit fire place, grapefruit and lemon citrus and paperbark. Freshness with good zesty flavour and energy. Just a little waxy texture, but for the most part clean, uncomplicated and balanced. Perfect with a little pork belly entree.
RRP: Probably $10 a glass and $35-40 a bottle in your nearest bistro.
