Previously this wine retailed at $20, but the team at Fourth Wave Wine have now made this an “On Premesis” exclusive. Which means bistros and pubs. If you want to buy it, ask them a question.  Made by FWW honcho Nicholas Crampton and Tim Shand from Punt Rd wines.

 

Easy cranberry and raspberry with fragrant cherry, some confectionary rose, brown spice and herb. Milk chocolate echoes and bread crust. Meaty and a little funky on the palate, with green sticky tannin and quite warm, peppery spice. Just medium bodied, light fruit and a little shrill on the acid. Short-ish finish, but then it holds some varietal signatures. 

 

RRP: whatever the table stand has it at….probably $10 a glass and $32 a bottle in your nearest bistro.
