A blend of 75% Sauvignon Blanc and 25% Semillon. A fair bit of work goes into this wine with 43% barrel fermented wild with grape solids with 5% new oak and the rest being older, large oak.

Flametree Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Margaret River, 2023

Aromatic and fragrant. Expected SB dominant aromas with passionfruit seeds and a little touch of sweaty capsicum and berry leaf, but tempered with lychee, preserved lemon and a gentle creaminess from the oak. Lively palate with zest and drive. Lychee and lemongrass flavours balanced by near saline, minerally dryness. A serious and textural blend.
