One of a pair of Shiraz from Flametree Wines, the other being the Frankland River (from Great Southern). This sees 20-30% whole bunches and whole berries in the ferment, offering a little carbonic maceration influence. After primary fermentation, inoculated for MLF and matured in old oak for 9 months.

Deep garnet with a bright rim. Full and deep, cherry, strap licorice, blackberry, mocha, a little stalky spice, baking spices and a touch of ferrous blood. Sliky front, with a powdery soft texture. Bright fruit, wonderfully layered and keen and clean through a long tail. Excellent value.
