Mid ruby colour. Complex and layered with dark granite foundations, gun smoke, fleshy plum, black olive, dark cherries and raspberries, almost choc-orange citrus nuance and bucketsful of dried herbs. Flesh, char, cherry, olive and with firm, fine and elegant tannins. Umami intensity and length through a glorious palate that demands attention. Almost chinotto orange citrus echoes. Such a dark and intriguing wine.
