Mid ruby colour with just a lighter rim. Sharp near nettle spike from the whole bunch through black cherry, ground black peppercorn, five spice, hints of orange rind, malt biscuit, earthy game meat, cola and dried rose petals. Supple and spiced. The tannins are drying, yet elegant and give a comfortable ride. Seemingly simple but well constructed with plenty of drive and class.
