SRS is the acronym for Flametree Wines’ “Sub Regional Series” that make up some of their best wines. This chardonnay sourced from a single block in the heart of Margaret River. Wild fermentation and maturation in large oak (40% new). Chief Winemaker is Cliff Royle.

Bright lemon to straw hue. Rich and complex nose. Creamy stone fruit and nougat, flaky pastry, stony quartz, white flowers, the suggestion of barley sugar, struck flint and lemon zest. Powerful, moving in waves through its many layers. Savoury and structured at its heart, with precision, focus and length. There’s a briny tang and a gentle grip of phenolics in the tail. Another exceptional release from Flametree.
