Medium garnet with bright ruby edges. Floral and layered nose. Rose petals, raspberry, cherry sauce, blue plums, bluestone, drying blood, kidskin glove leather, white pepper and a touch of sweet oak. Pepper, raw spice, shrill intensity, sandy fine tannins…..all structure (albeit very elegant structure), for the moment, hinting at the fruit. Super clean and tight.  This hardly moved after a day in the glass. Allow plenty of time to develop.
