Okay, this is a first here on Vino Notebook. The team at Moo Brew (one of the pioneers of the renewed craft brewing scene in Tasmania) have jumped on the 0% bandwagon and produced a Sparkling Hop Soda. Head brewer Jack Viney states “We set out to create a non-alcoholic product that felt true to Moo
Brew’s roots—and notto blotto is just that. It’s simple, flavorful, and downright drinkable, providing an option to bend the elbow, booze-free.”

Ingredients listed are Water, hops (Moo Brew won’t tell which ones), yeast and citric acid. Zero sugar. Zero alcohol. Zero calories.

Medium lemon hue with a slightly turbid appearance. Unmistakable hop driven nose, slightly resinous and tropical with soft lemony citrus tones. Palate of clean, refreshing citrus with soft effervescence (it’s literally sparkling water), cloaked with a touch of dank hop influence. Unique and one for those that want the refreshment but like the hop influence.
