Full nod to young Rioja joven and made for food/tapas. Cherry, milk chocolate (no oak, remember), blueberry muffin, hints of crushed tomato leaf, bluestone and just a waft of road bitumen. Medium bodied with good concentration, waxy red fruit focus and billowing choc coda.. Rumbly, coating little tannins that scream for protein rich tapa. Shortish finish but plenty of depth for the price point.
