This was previously labelled as ‘Dry Grown’ as fruit is sourced from a 30 year old unirrigated vineyard.  The bottle image still has that wording. Tenafeate Creek is based in One Tree Hill, just out of greater Adelaide and sits at the edges of the North West corner of the Adelaide Hills and the South West corner of the Barossa and fits into the Mount Lofty Ranges GI. Basket pressed with maturation in old oak.

Tenafeate Creek, Grenache, Mt Lofty Ranges, 2023

Big nose, floral and lifted with fleshy raspberry and underpinned by a stony and almost new potato earthiness. Mineral spine through plush red fruit. Soft, blocky tannins under a little prickle of heat and spice. A dark savoury finish flattens and narrows, but there’s plenty of upfront fruit to win fans.
