Basket pressed for malolactic fermentation and maturation in new and old oak.

Opaque with garnet rim. Aromas of fresh black and maraschino cherry, tobacco leaf, potpourri, earthen ware, black tea, licorice, cooking chocolate and young kitchen herb blossom. Medium full flesh, slick and smooth cherry and cola with late burst of drying sandy tannins. Pleasantly savoury and herbal finish with dark fruit echoes and a squeeze of juicy, youthful acidity. Ready to go now.
