Benchmark Barossa Semillon (the other place it grows). Part of the Masters series and so named after the legend that was Margaret Lehmann.

Pale and primary. Lemon balm, lemon curd, salt crystals, ginger shavings, a hint of toast and dough with the merest lanolin development, white candle wax and kiwi fruit skin. Palate is generous but not simple. Fruit of Granny smith apple and preserved lemon. Almost creamy, yet crystalline with tight citrus focus and a protein depth as a coda tailing. Finishes achingly dry. A beautiful wine.
