Peter Lehmann Wines, Mentor, Cabernet Sauvignon, Barossa, 2021
Rich with Belgian chocolate, spiced and studded with bay leaves, blackberries, fresh leather, rubber plant, baked muffin, hints of black olive, turned earth, raspberry and toasty oak. Full bodied with some slickness to the initial offering. Falling into dry and concentrated, inky dark profile with plenty of dark chocolate before a savoury and chary finish. Tannins are ripe, dry and flowing. The quality is evident and will have a long life ahead.
