Earthworks, Shiraz, Barossa, 2022

Deep garnet purple with bright ermine rim. Toffee apple with mocha, graphite, clove studs, meaty stock to bone broth, blue plums, Fruits Of The Forest conserve and a little camphor. Straight down the line, with a Nuevo fresh Barossa approach of flesh without opulence. Fine structure with fine and drying tannins, giving good balance between plush fruit and savoury nuances of spice and meat. Medium length finish.
