Medium garnet to ruby in hue. Such a consistent release and utterly drinkable. McLaren Vale to its core with red raspberry jubey fruit offset with cherry soft and sour, dark earthy undertones, choc nut bar and powdery cocoa. Medium full, supple and tasty. Some protein/parmesan rind depth/funk under black cherry and raspberry jam. Savoury iodine and nori underscore the works before vanilla oak nudges the cheeky hint of alcohol warmth. Lingering char and the right amount of blocky, toothsome grip ensuring yet another notch on the consistency board.
