Yalumba, Bush Vine, Grenache, Barossa, 2022

Medium garnet. All florals and spices: bergamot, rosehip, hibiscus with darker savoury all-spice and cleaned up with a fresh-mint cool. Some meaty ferrous tones over caramel malt, cherries and raspberries. Fleshy and bright palate. Crunchy red fruits tempered with waxy florals and drying tannin. Takes a dark savoury umami turn through the back palate with old strawberry jam leading to char and nori sheet as a point of balance. Full, but balanced.
