Chaffey Bros Wine Co Not your Grandma’s Rosé 2024

Always advertised as Grenache and Mourvèdre, but carries a splash of aromatic whites from the Eden Valley: Riesling, Gewürtztraminer and Kerner. The label comes with a temperature sensitive indicator letting you know when the wine is optimal.

Chaffey Bros Wine Co, Not your Grandma’s Rosé, Barossa Valley, 2024

CBROSE-2021

Incredibly pale hue, even bordering onion skin. Some signature pinkness: Crushed rose petals, powderpuff, Turkish Delight. Hints of musk and red cherries. Peach stone fruit, lemon drop citrus and a herby nuance like strawberry top and capped off with an incredible freshness. Some pink fruit sweet focus for this release that borders on confectionary, before being pulled back into line with fine acidity and a very god presence. I’ve said it before and I say it again, this is fun…but there’s some good quality fruit and winemaking underneath that makes it very good value.
