Opaque garnet in hue. Cassis, minty hints, young eucalypt leaves, chomped cigar, warm blueberry, violets, a hint of bay, fresh turned earth, beetroot chocolate cake and mocha oak. Rustic tannins frame a medium bodied, elegant black fruit centre. The tannic structure persists long (it’s fine and mesh, not chunky or blocky) with a touch of tacky-ness. A bright flourish cuts through the tail. Comforting in its rusticity.
