Running With Bulls are the Hill-Smith Family Estate’s Iberian fun and tasty range. Here they make a reach and have bottled a Shiraz (hence the Bullish sub-title)., but keep to their roots with a dash of Tempranillo. Made by young(ish) gun Sam Wigan. Wild ferment and vegan friendly
Running With Bulls, Bullish, Shiraz, Tempranillo, Barossa, 2024
Deep Barossa plum and blackberry (near pastille) with a herbal edge. There’s some thick Turkish espresso coffee, mocha, campfire ash, deep rose petal, cracked pepper and roast beef. Bright, smooth and juicy: awash with those dark berries and off-set with meaty umami and dry tobacco/peppery spice. It’s not complex, but it isn’t meant to be. Just pour generous servings and share with friends,.
