Freshness jumps out of the glass. Plenty of white citrus florals, even some white stone fruit, talc, lime juice, star jasmine, cotton sheets and an earthy wet sand profile (it’s clumpier than white river stones). Balances upfront attractive, approachable richness with a fineness that good Riesling demands. Clean and juicy, there’s a neat chalkiness to show winemaking care (even at this price point) and a closing hint of lime juice, fennel frond and rosewater,  Sunshine and sushi or a plate of salt and pepper squid.
