Medium ruby. Lifted, red currant, deep cherry, chalk, roast beetroot, game meats, soft brown earth, crackling autumn leaves, potpourri and candle wax. Such a well out together wine. The palate is tight and linear, long and refined with silken, tightly woven tannins. Attractive and understated.
