Running With Bulls, Tempranillo, Barossa, 2024

Bruise purple. Cola, black cherries, boot polish, plum halves, roast almond with dried lavender flowers, and caramelised charry meat ends. Bright, juicy, dark, handsome, lightly spiced with vanilla studs through the plump purple fruit. Nothing too complex, there’s some dusty cocoa powder tannins allow it to pair with meaty/tomato based dishes and good times. Don’t be afraid to chill it. Balanced and fun.
