From the rolling hills of of the Orange region in Central West, New South Wales.  Winemaker is Jeff ‘Buddy’ Byrne.

Angullong, Fossil Hill, Chardonnay, Orange, 2023

Very pale hue with green edge. Creamy on the nose and the palate: white nectarine flesh. hints of green melon ripeness with almond paste, sesame oil, nougat, crushed ‘milk arow root’ biscuits and a little egg shell.  That ripeness and creaminess carries through and oak gives a nutty, spiced piquancy over the flesh. Tightens at the tail, with a fine phenolic grip.
