From high high high up above Mudgee from David Lowe’s Nullo Mountain range, comes this light bodied, spiced little number.
Cinnamon, cloves, little flowers and orange peel. Almost mulled wine than table wine. There’s a cheesy protein complexity that gives a touch of muscularity a somewhat ethereal, feminine strawberry and cherry light frame. French oak gives pressure to the cat’s tongue of tannins.
The altitude of the vineyard, 1100 metres plus, evokes delicate flavour with cold climate acid from a unique terrior.
Incredibly drinkable, almost a luncheon wine.
