The full name of the grape is Montepulciano d’Abruzzo….not to be confused with the tor-topping village of Montepulciano in Chianti.

Tight red berries, fruit cake spices, coffee and sandalwood. Plenty of plush red currants, plums, bittersweet essence and fine chalky tannins. Full mouth feel and will reward a juicy cut of lamb.
