Easy does it with this tasty, elegant Pinot.
Montalto Pennon Hill, Pinot Noir, Mornington Peninsula, 2015
Small woody twigs, fuzzy cherry and strawberry, cinnamon spice, roast ham outer. Medium bodied, light cherry and smidge of that brown spice. There’s also a dark yeasty, toasted note, though not unpleasant is a little distracting. Bright flavours, feels alive and agile. Tannins are soft, acids are crunchy. Finishes nice and spicy with a echo of orange rind. A spot-on Pinot for drinkability.
