d’Arenberg, The Noble, Prankster, Chardonnay/Semillon/Viogner, McLaren Vale 2015

Light caramel gold in the glass. Nose of mushroom cap, wheaten biscuit, tinned apricot, warm toffee and steel wool. The palate seems broad, wheaty and with sour yeasty finishing tones before falling away sharply. Slightly flabby rather than corpulent. Someone has to finish fourth out of four.
