The Rosés are starting to bloom…
Annie’s Lane Rosé, Mourvedre/Grenache, Clare Valley, 2016
Light confectionery nose: musk lolly sticks, raspberry jubes, spearmint leaves with a slight creamy/strawberry yoghury note. Ever so slight spritz and fruit raspberry fool to quince paste sweetness, before a sharp dry finish. Acids are slightly tart. Good smoky lingering quality. The grapes will always give a slightly fruit sweet interpretation, but if you can find it for under RRP, will be a good drink to match stuffed oven roasted capsicums.
RRP: $20.99
Alc: 13%
