How cuddly do you like your GSMs? This one matured in 60% American oak (10% new) and 40% French oak (10% new) barrels. Plush and generous red fruit nose with raspberry jube, lipstick, spearmint leaf and creamy vanilla oak.  Full palate which highlights the cuddly oak and red fruit spectrum . Finishes a little hot with plenty of grainy tannins. Good for now with a big bowl of pasta and a meaty/tomato sauce.
