Hello Coonawarra….
DiGiorgio Family Wines, Shiraz, Coonawarra, 2014
Smells of polished mulberry, dark cherry and blood plum with mince meat savoury animal quality. Almost Fruits of the Forest bold flavours of boysenberry and mulberry. In fact, add the smooth vanilla oak and it seems like you’re drinking a “Drumstick” ice cream. Almost a Drumstick like flavour profile too: Big plush fruit up front tailing into sandy teeth coating tannins. It’s plump and jovial, with a big jacket of oak. Give it some cellaring time.
RRP: $26
