Really don’t know how they manage to make any money out of this wine, considering you can find it well below RRP….
Kalleske Clarry’s, Grenache/Shiraz/Mataro, Barossa Valley, 2016
Nutty, choc, licorice bullet, ferrous/steely, pepper & master stock braising meat all highlighted with some farty cabbage and big Barossa red/plum fruit. Effortlessly drinkable: a mixed bag combination of fruit, steel, texture and fun. Sure there’s some grip and tannin in an effort to be grown up and serious, but it’s Clarry is predominantly a good time guy. At the price (and often cheaper), fill yer boots.
RRP: $21
Alc: 14.5%
