From 40 year old vineyards grown on the Fordwich Sill, a plug of red volcanic clay which runs through the area of Broke Fordwich.
Margan, Semillon, Hunter Valley 2016
Slighty fuller than the average Hunter Valley Sem, sitting at 12.5%, the usual lemon/lime spectrum joined with a soft mandarin pith line. The nose a hint of lemon cream along with the verbena. Palate remains crisp and delicious. Give it medium term cellaring to develop those rich lemon toasty notes or just enjoy the sunshine now.
RRP: $20
Alc: 12.5%
