Wolf Blass, Yellow Label, Shiraz, South Australia 2015
There’s the expected plums and but also unexpected animalistic/washed rind cheese meatiness for some complexity. Mocha fills the void. I think the alcohol may be a little higher than stated, but it gives a silky, slippery feel to the wine before an okay amount of tannin, pepper and spice. Missing a little bit of flavour and personality, but satisfactorily made.
