Nautilus Estate in Marlborough is part of a group known as the Family of XII (twelve), a banding together of family owned New Zealand wineries.

1% Barrel ferment and 5 months on lees. Expressive nose of Passionfruit, nettle, elderflower, blackcurrant leaf and hints of  yellow stone fruit. A step above your average SB, with flowing fruits of passionfruit, light lychees, lime pith and peaches. The fruit never turns sour or acrid on the palate with plenty of grip from the time of resting on lees. If only all Sauvignon Blanc was made like this.
