There’s little need for introduction on this wine, save for the fact that for all the megalitres of rosé being produced in Australia at the moment, some more than others must be near the top of the heap.
TarraWarra Estate, Pinot Noir Rosé, Yarra Valley, 2016
True rose gold colour. Delicate light red fruit aromas of cherries and strawberries before a small amount of Danish pastry richness, fresh grass and red apple skin. A wine of texture and structure. Almost austere red fruits take the background whilst a balance between soft tannins and medium acidity ensures a quality palate experience. Delicate winemaking sees this a tremendous value wine.
