Pinot Meunier is not often seen as a standalone varietal in Australia, usually blended away with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir for Sparkling wines. Drawing a Destiny’s Child analogy: It’s the Michelle Williams to Chardonnay’s Kelly Rowland and Pinot Noir’s Beyoncé.

Delicately perfumed with light red currant and strawberry, soft smoky aromas, celery leaf, lipstick and small amounts of fresh thyme. Supple and smooth palate with cherry and small red plum flavours, good crisp acidity and a smoky finish. It treads lightly and brightly. Very good.
